I lost over 30lbs in 5 months without ever feeling hungry and people keep asking me how I did it. So rather than tell the world one person at a time I’ve decided to give the complete story here. I don’t know about you but when I read about someone losing weight I want to know exactly what they did and what challenges, if any, they had to face along the way -- and if I’m honest I don’t want to pay for finding this out.

My weight loss, along with my exercise plan, are still a work in progress. I’m hoping to lose yet more fat (not just ‘weight’) and improve my health. If my BMI is a measure of my success then I have some way to go but I have no aspiration to be hugely muscular and ‘ripped’. My humble goal was to be something approaching a ‘normal’ weight and to be as healthy as possible and I believe I have achieved that. I’m the first to admit I’m not clever enough or indeed qualified enough to tell you what will work for you but I will tell you what books I’ve read and how things worked out for me.

I believe that a low carb diet is the easiest diet to maintain and I’ll be promoting its virtues through this site but if you’ve had success with another type of diet, like the standard calorie controlled version then please let me know so I can pass it on to the world. After all we are all different and what suits me might not suit you.
